Tor gear up for a final push

Tor FC finally finished their league campaign after what was a hectic three weeks.

Two weeks ago they booked a place in the Intermediate Cup final at the expense of Bridgwater Sports. Two days later they won 7-1 away at Ilchester and, with little rest, a 3-2 home win against Odcombe followed 48 hours later.

A three-day break then ensured before Tor faced Premier League outfit Westlands and, despite an early Kyle Richards goal, Westlands won 3-1 to progress to the Les King Cup final.

A week later Tor faced Ilchester again at home and they ran out Replica Casio easy 8-0 winners. Tor then travelled to Martock, who were just one place off the bottom, and ran out 5-3 winners with Craig Flagg bagging a brace.

The last of seven games in 15 days saw Tor travel to Yeovil side Wessex. Craig Flagg, Kyle Richards and Neil Parsons (2) got on the scoresheet as the Glastonbury side emerged 4-0 winners.

Only three weeks ago Tor were rock bottom of the league but with some great performances and five league wins on the bounce, they have found themselves finishing in a healthy fourth place, with two cup finals rounding off a good season for Stein Tiffany Jewelry Outlet Foley's men.

They now have one week to prepare for their biggest game of the season, the Somerset Intermediate Cup final, on Tuesday at Street Football Club.
